The
Venus from Milo
Venus
of Milo is considered the symbol of the sculptural perfection.
The original statue date from second century B.C. and
it was discovered in 1820 by a farmer of the isle of Milo.
It was bought by Marquis De Rivière, French Ambassador
in Costantinopoli, and presented to Louis XVIII. Today
the statue lies in the Louvre Museum. This reproduction
is signed by the sculptor Carusi and it is realized in
marble resin. The height of the statue is 42 cm. , it
has a base in black marble Maruqinia. The grace of its
